Walker Backflow and Fire Protection Services, LLC was formed in 2004. Owner, Travis D. Walker, began his career in the fire protection industry 15 years ago. He started in a ground level position installing fire protection systems in commercial buildings. Over time he worked his way through the ranks to Foreman where he managed crews on installation projects. Eventually, he earned the promotion to Inspector for a fire protection company with offices all over the world. He soon became the company's top producer passing veterans with many more years experience in the industry.

Years of installing and inspecting many different types of fire protection / suppression systems led to an extensive understanding of how these systems work. Travis has a unique ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. In 2004, Travis had the opportunity to start his own business and follow a dream he had for offering customers a unique business plan related to fire protection / suppression and backflow prevention device testing, inspecting and repair. The company has grown every year and now serves customers all over the state of Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Customers

We have a wide range of customers who have allowed us to design a fire protection inspection maintenance program for their company. Examples of current customers we serve include manufacturing plants, hospitals, retail outlets, restaurants, office buildings and nursing homes. In addition to those commercial customers, we also provide backflow prevention device testing for many local Alabama residential customers in Liberty Park, Highland Lakes, The Preserves and Cahaba Heights to mention a few.
