Walker Backflow and Fire Protection Services specializes in inspection, troubleshooting and repair of fire protection systems, fire pumps, kitchen hood systems, fire extinguishers and backflow prevention devices. Owner, Travis D. Walker, saw a need and the desire of his customers to have one company that would handle the inspection and testing requirements as mandated by government agencies or the insurance industry. We set up a maintenance schedule for each of our customers based on their needs and time schedules. Our customers appreciate that we help them manage this area of their maintenance program. They also appreciate that we are not distracted by huge construction projects.

Fire protection companies who install fire protection systems invest a lot of money and employee time into those large construction projects. For them, inspection revenue is so small compared to the revenue generated by new construction projects that the inspection department is sometimes neglected. If a customer has a need for a new fire protection system installation, we work with a local fire protection company who offers those services. After a new system is installed, it is vital to have that system inspected by a trained technician to insure the successful operation of that system should a fire occur. We perform inspections in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards. We stress continuing education, job site safety and contact with equipment manufacturers to keep up with current technology.

Also included in our complete inspection and maintenance package are inspections of fire extinguishers and kitchen hood systems which require an inspection every six months.
